A Brief Overview of the Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission

The Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission (OYHASC) was established in 2007 to provide manpower requirements for the service of the Oyo State House of Assembly. It became functional in 2012, with the appointment of its first set of members by Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

The Commission’s Role

The OYHASC plays a crucial role in supporting the House of Assembly by:

  • Appointing and managing staff
  • Formulating regulations and policies
  • Providing logistical and administrative support
  • Ensuring the smooth functioning of the legislative process
