Our History

UNIFEMGA has a rich and diverse history that spans over several decades. It was founded in 1986 as the Obafemi Awolowo University Graduates’ Association with the primary aim of creating a platform for alumni to connect and support each other in their professional and personal endeavors.

Over the years, UNIFEMGA has grown to become a vibrant community of OAU graduates from various fields, working together to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

Our history is a testament to the power of collective action, and we remain committed to upholding the values and legacy of Obafemi Awolowo University through our various initiatives and programs.

Engr. AbdulFatah Olanlege is the President of UNIFEMGA, leading the association in connecting, empowering, and inspiring OAU graduates.

With over 20 years of engineering experience, he’s committed to driving progress and creating change through initiatives such as networking events and professional development opportunities.

His vision and leadership make him a respected and admired leader among OAU alumni.
