The sad news of the demise of our dear colleague, friend, “school mate”, mentor, leader, a professional ambassador par excellence, and above all an amiable brethren Pharm. Alli Bakau Oyinloye (BOA), comes with a deep sense of loss, sober reflection, teary eyes, but with total submission to the Will of Almighty Allaah.

Life, indeed, is a fleeting passage. It is a constant reminder that we are all on a unidirectional journey.

A force that is constantly pushing its travellers through same route yet different experiences.

Each traveller stops at the next point best known to the Supreme Creator.

The exact time, the particular location, and specific cause(s) are all shrouded in their ephemeral ignorance.

This course therefore reminds us that the only currency worthy of accruing for that trip is our sincere and beautiful deeds.

Indeed, death suffices as an admonition.

Pharm. Bakau was a man of integrity, truth, straight-forwardness, and uncommon loyalty.

He was brutally honest, trustworthy, steadfast, dependable, knowledge-passion, and ever committed to his convictions and the ideals of his faith and pharmacy as his profession.

In his death, we are reminded that a good name is better than silver or gold; that what we leave behind is not wealth or title, but the light of our character and the warmth of our humanity.

Your legacy of honour, faithfulness, gratitude, unifying spirit, kind heartedness, generosity, and prudence will live on In Shaa Allaah.

We pray Almighty Allaah forgive your shortcomings, accept you as His true slaves, grant you Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and strengthen those that were left behind
