Highlight 1: 4th Annual National Program on Agriculture by UNIFEMGA Ogun State Chapter

UNIFEMGA Ogun State Chapter hosted its 4th Annual National Program on Agriculture on Saturday, 30th November 2024, in Abeokuta. Themed “Sustainable Agriculture for Food Security in Nigeria,” the program spotlighted “Agricultural Innovation for Food Processing and Modern Farming Techniques.”

Alh. Najeem Adewale Awodele, former Minister of State for Agriculture, chaired the event, urging collaboration with government agencies to boost agricultural development. Guest speaker Mr. Adedeji Abdulfatai Abiodun, from Crescent University, delivered an engaging lecture enriched with practical demonstrations on food processing techniques such as fish preservation, custard production, and liquid product packaging.

The event was a success, equipping participants with innovative tools to enhance their farming practices and contribute to Nigeria’s food security.

Highlight 2: Congratulations to Dr. Imran Saheed Adekunle!

We are delighted to congratulate Dr. Imran Saheed Adekunle on the successful launch of his book on Pension Management. The event, held on December 11, 2024, at Merit House Auditorium in Abuja, was a significant milestone.
Dr. Adekunle’s book is designed for all readers, featuring:

-Practical Illustrations: Includes illustrations and graphics for better understanding.

Highlight 3: UNIFEMGA Celebrates Outstanding Achievements of immediate past MSSN OAU leaders at the last OAU Convocation!

We are immensely proud to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of our members at the recent Obafemi Awolowo University convocation. Special congratulations go to:

• Araromi AbdulHameed Temitope: The immediate past Ameer and a Hafiz of the Quran, who graduated with First Class honors in Material Science & Engineering.
• Ambali Shakeeroh: The immediate past Ameerah, who also graduated with First Class honors in Management & Accounting.

Their achievements are a testament to their hard work, dedication, and ability to balance leadership responsibilities with academic excellence. Their success is an inspiration to us all.

Highlight 7: UNIFEMGA Celebrates Alhaji Engineer Abdul Kabir Aliu’s 50th Birthday!

UNIFEMGA was duly represented at the celebration of the 50th birthday of Alhaji Engineer Abdul Kabir Aliu, CEO of Matrix Energy, held in Maitama, Abuja. In honor of this milestone, he was presented with a copy of the Holy Qur’an and a befitting well worded card.
Alhaji Engineer Abdul Kabir Aliu, a cherished member of our association, is renowned for his philanthropy and unwavering support. UNIFEMGA remains immensely grateful for his unparalleled contribution and dedication.

UNIFEMGA extends heartfelt congratulations to the Lagos Chapter on the resounding success of the 2024 UNIFEMGA Lagos Family Picnic. Held at Mindscapes Children’s Museum in Lekki, December 22nd, 2024 and the event brought together families and individuals for a day of fun, bonding, and memorable experiences.

Highlight 9: Double Celebrations for the Family of Professors Mudashiru Olalere and Hamdalat Taiwo Yusuf

UNIFEMGA Kwara Chapter extends its warmest congratulations to the family of Professor Mudashiru Olalere and Professor (Mrs.) Hamdalat Taiwo Yusuf on two remarkable occasions:

1. The successful delivery of the 271st Inaugural Lecture at the University of Ilorin on December 19, 2024, by Professor Hamdalat. The lecture, titled “Navigating the Nexus of Teacher Education, Curriculum Development, and Social Studies,” was a profound contribution to academic discourse.
2. The joyful marriage ceremony of their beloved son, a moment of happiness and new beginnings for the family.
