Highlight 1: UNIFEMGA Celebrates the Achievements of Esteemed Members.
UNIFEMGA is happy to celebrate and recognize the outstanding achievements of our distinguished members. Their dedication to duty and pursuit of excellence has brought honour to the entire community.

- Dr. Monsurat Modupe Raimi, Nee Salami. Awarded PhD in Biochemistry: We are delighted to announce that Dr. Raimi a committed member of the UNIFEMGA, Ile-Ife chapter , has been awarded a PhD in Biochemistry by the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).
Dr. Raimi had previously earned her BSc and MSc from the same institution. In 2023, she was promoted to Chief Lecturer in the Department of Applied Sciences at the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
Dr. Raimi’s promotion to Chief Lecturer and her recent PhD award is a pointer to her dedication to academic excellence. - Dr. H. A. Adefeso. Promoted to Reader: Our heartfelt congratulations goes to Dr. Adefeso, Vice Chairman of the UNIFEMGA Ile-Ife chapter. He has been promoted to Reader in the Department of Local Government and Development Studies, with effect from October 1st, 2023.
We celebrate this significant milestone in his career. - Dr. K.T. Kareem. Promoted to Research Professor: We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Dr. K.T. Kareem of the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T) to Research Professor with effect from October 1st, 2023.
Dr. Kareem’s promotion is a testament to her significant contributions to agricultural research. - Dr. E. O. Farinde. Promoted to Research Professor: Congratulations to Dr. E. O. Farinde, also of the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T), on her promotion to Research Professor, with effect from October 1st , 2023.
We are proud to celebrate her success. - Dr. Ma’ruf B. Omigbule. Promoted to Reader: We are excited to share that Dr. Ma’ruf B. Omigbule of the Department of English has been promoted to Reader, with effect from October 1st, 2021.
This promotion is a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and scholarly contributions to the field of English studies.
Congratulations to Dr. Omigbule for reaching this significant milestone. - Dr. Alirah O. Agboola. Promoted to Professor: Dr. Alirah O. Agboola of the Department of Estate Management, has been promoted to Professor, with effect from October 1st, 2024.
Her contributions to Estate Management are commendable, and we celebrate her remarkable progress.

Guest Speaker: Mr. Adedeji AbdulFatai Abiodun, distinguished lecturer from the Crescent University.
Theme: Agricultural Innovation for Food Processing and Modern Farming Techniques.
Chairperson of the Day: Alh. Najeem Adewale Awodele, former Minister of State for Agriculture.
The theme this year is crucial to assist in navigating the challenges and opportunities in our agricultural sector.

Highlight 3: Congratulations to the New Executives of UNIFEMGA, Ife Chapter.
UNIFEMGA National extends heartfelt congratulations to the Ife Chapter on the successful selection of its new Executive Committee members for Year 2024/2026.
The selection held on 10th November 2024.
It marks a significant milestone in our continuous journey towards excellence and dedicated service to humanity.
We commend the Shura Committee, led by Alh. M. O. Agbaje, for their exemplary efforts in ensuring a smooth and transparent election.
Our gratitude also goes to the previous Executives for their commitment to service.

Today, the Executive Committee of UNIFEMGA, Kwara State Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to Professor Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin.
The meeting was both fruitful and impactful, fostering meaningful discussions.
