2026 Annual UNIFEMGA Honours Awards: Celebrating Excellence in Leadership and Service

The Obafemi Awolowo University Muslim Graduates’ Association (UNIFEMGA) is thrilled to announce the 2026 Honours Awards, a prestigious event recognizing outstanding members who have made significant contributions to the association and the society at large.

According to Mr. Shefiu Ikudaisi, National Secretary of UNIFEMGA, the event will take place on February 7, 2026, at Bovina View Hotels Limited, New Yidi Road, Ilorin, Kwara State. The theme of the occasion is ” Rebuilding National and International Confidence through Leadership and Followership Reforms.”

Renowned Islamic scholar, Fadhilatul Ustadh Mukhtar Lukman Isale Koto , will deliver the keynote address, while Professor Abdulganiyu F. Alabi will chair the ceremony.

Engr. Mohammed Buari, National President of UNIFEMGA, expressed delight in celebrating distinguished members who have excelled in their respective fields of endeavours and contributed significantly to UNIFEMGA’s growth and development. The awards ceremony will honor exceptional individuals in three categories:

• Presidential Awards: Recognizing outstanding contributions to Islam, society, and UNIFEMGA .
• Excellence Awards: Honoring individuals who have attained professorial cadre or demonstrated exceptional service.
• Achievement Awards: Celebrating individuals who have achieved doctorate degrees or demonstrated outstanding service in their various fields.
